1. Program Description
Curbside Insured operates two distinct, opt-in SMS programs for US mobile numbers:
- Account Notifications: transactional messages, including delivery of the free Insurance Score vs. Credit Score Explainer you requested, confirmation of opt-in, and replies to messages you initiate. Frequency: varies based on your activity.
- Educational & Marketing Updates: recurring promotional and educational messages about new guides, updates to state insurance-scoring rules, and related informational content. Frequency: approximately 4 messages per month.
Each program requires a separate, affirmative opt-in. Neither is pre-selected.
2. Carrier Disclaimer
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Available US carriers only.
3. Consent and Eligibility
By providing your mobile number and selecting an SMS opt-in checkbox on our forms, you expressly consent to receive autodialed text messages from Curbside Insured at the mobile number provided, including via automated technology. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving the free educational content available on this Site. You must be at least 18 years of age and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.
4. Help and Opt-Out
- Reply HELP for support. You may also email ask@curbsideinsured.com.
- Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to cancel.
- After opting out, you will receive one confirmation message and no further messages from the program you opted out of.
5. Identification
The first message you receive from us will identify Curbside Insured as the sender, confirm the program you opted into, state message frequency, include the "Msg & data rates may apply" notice, confirm STOP as the opt-out keyword, and confirm that Curbside Insured is not an insurance company, agent, or broker.
6. No Sharing of Mobile Information
Curbside Insured does not sell, rent, share, or transfer your mobile phone number, SMS consent, or any related data to any third party for marketing or lead-generation purposes. We do not share this data with insurance carriers, agents, brokers, comparison platforms, or lead aggregators under any circumstance. We share mobile information only with service providers strictly necessary to deliver the messages you requested (for example, our SMS gateway), under contracts that prohibit secondary use.
7. Content of Messages
SMS messages are limited to delivery of the educational content you requested and related program operation. We do not send insurance quotes, agent referrals, or marketing on behalf of any insurance carrier through this program.
8. Privacy
Our handling of mobile information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Continued participation in the program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
